Julie has been in the design industry for over 30 years. Beginning her career as a print designer, Julie has experience in ad design, packaging, brochures, catalogs and most other types of promotional material. She moved into digital 20 years ago and now also creates stunning designs for websites, e-newsletter campaigns, social networking, and digital billboards.
Julie lives in Brownsville amongst a countryside of windmills with her husband, Dean (the horror author), and her two feline boys (Ziggy and Loki). She spends her spring months memorizing play lines for the Lomira Community Theatre as actor, fall/winter months prepping for the Winter Variety Show and serving as board member in-between.
Random fact about me: I love getting that bargain. I buy too many clothes and shoes.
Guilty pleasure: chocolate – I’m completely addicted to chocolate… and maybe some Old Fashioneds to wash it down.
First job:Â One of my first jobs was working on a strawberry farm escorting customers to their rows of strawberries, helping carry the strawberry crates for seniors, and getting a radiant sunburn.
Hobbies:Â Making hand-made cards and beaded jewelry
Downfall: My cats – I let them walk all over me, literally 🙂
